COVID-19 Office Update

We at Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus continue to prioritize the safety of our patients while providing quality care. Starting May 4, we will begin doing routine eye exams at a lower capacity. To ensure everyone’s safety and in accordance with the Texas Medical Board please see below for our new policies:

We ask that…
-All patients over 2 yrs of age must wear a mask
-Only one other person accompany the patient into the office
-You wait in the car upon arrival and call us to notify us before entering
-You fill out the COVID-19 screening form and all other paper work prior
-Anyone with symptoms of COVID-19 (fever/cough) or has been in contact with someone with symptoms in the last 20 days will not be seen
-We ask that high risk patients continue to post pone their routine appointments

Our promise to you…
-We will use a non-contact thermometer to screen patients
-We have spaced chairs 6ft apart and have indicators in public spaces
-We will sanitize after every patient
-We continue to offer telemedicine services
