Current Research Project
We are currently involved in several research projects. Areas include:
- Histological changes of eye muscles in strabismic patients
- Psycho-social effects on adults with strabismus
- Local anesthesia for adults undergoing eye muscle surgery
- Long-term outcomes on infants undergoing cataract surgery with and without intra-ocular lenses
- Long-term outcomes on children undergoing unilateral lateral rectus recession in exotropia
- Nystagmus (shaking of the eyes)
- Anatomical variations of inferior oblique muscles—divergence insufficiency (age related distance esotropia in adults)
