The Retina Foundation of the Southwest is a nonprofit eye research institute dedicated to preventing vision loss and restoring sight through innovative research and treatment. The Retina Foundation provides unique, state-of-the-art testing to patients and their families at no cost to them. For more than 30 years, the Foundation’s goal has been to continue to advance sight saving treatments and make a lifetime of good vision a reality for everyone.
Dr. Stager, Jr. and Dr. Stager, Sr. continue to collaborate with Dr. Eileen Birch, the director of one of the leading pediatric vision research institutes, resulting in numerous journal publications over the past decades. Dr. Birch’s research interests include pediatric amblyopia, strabismus, cataract, retinopathy of prematurity, and special needs.
